When i have to make decisions having too many options i get stressed, anxious and overwhelmed because i know that having more options don’t make my life easier or happier. Daniel
Gilbert author of ‘Stumbling on Happiness’ says that research shows that having more options generally decrease happiness, although we belive that it increases happiness. Having more options gets us stuck in second guessing our choices and having so many options causes us to keep looking outside of ourselves for the next big thing to come our way, and we lose touch with part of ourselves that knows what our deepest desires are, and internal conflict sets in.
The only way to make the decision process easier is to go inside ourselves and meditate on our choices, it will remove all the outside noise and help calm us to prepare ourself for decision-making.
